Sentinels of the Multiverse – Base Set Characters pt2

Greetings All,

This is the start of my Sentinels of the Multiverse character series. Today is all about the Heroes of the base game. For those of you who are unfamiliar with SOTM, please refer to my prior post regarding the base set as well as my prior post for the heroes of the base set. Below you will find all base set villains and mine and my husband’s opinions of them, as requested by several of you. 🙂

Sentinels of The Multiverse Base Set Characters by Greater Than Game

Baron Blade_0

Baron Blade – Complexity of 1. Similar to Lex Luthor. His nemesis is Legacy. Probably the best starter villain due to how straight forward he is. His cards due descent damage, but it’s nothing you can’t combat when you work together.

citizen dawn

Citizen Dawn – Complexity of 3. Similar to Magneto. Her nemesis is Expatriette. She has a lot of minions/citizens that are in her deck, which make her quite formidable. Using standard rules she is easy to defeat, but once you try advanced it’s a whole other story.

GWVoss

Grand Warlord Voss – Complexity of 3. Similar to Darkseid. His nemesis is Tempest. Easily the hardest villain of the base set. Still a fantastic villain to fight against.

omnitron

Omnitron – Complexity of 1. Similar to Braniac. His nemesis is Omnitron-X. He is simple enough to begin with, but offers enough of a challenge with his device cards. There’s always another robot to defeat when he’s in play.

So my husbands favorite from the base set happens to be Omnitron, he bases this off of the theme and complexity. My favorite is Baron Blade. He as this one card that comes into play at the start of play called Mobile Defense Platform. You can’t damage Baron Blade until you defeat the MDF. I honestly hate that card, but I dare say that I love to hate it. 🙂
